Dragons’ Den

Dragons' Den Amy

Deborah Meaden

It is becoming more evident that what we put on our skin, is as important as what we put in our mouths. As a result consumers have never been savvier about what goes in to the products they use on their family. In particular, parents want to be assured that bathtime products are gentle enough for young skin.

The natural formulations and the fun element were a big part of Good Bubble’s appeal. For me, it’s also as much about the people as it is the products. I was quickly impressed by Amy’s level of research and knowledge of her market. The energetic passion with which she has built the brand coupled with how she carried herself in the Den, and came back fighting from a tricky moment cinched it for me”

I am absolutely thrilled to have Deborah onboard with Good Bubble. It was a bit of a rollercoaster in the Den as my nerves got the better of me at one point, but I’m pleased I persevered. Deborah really seems to ‘get’ my vision for the brand and I’m excited for this next chapter of the Good Bubble journey. Thank you to everyone past and present who has supported me so far. Especially my parents and their company Wordsworth (UK) Ltd – I couldn’t have done it without them!

Good Bubble on Dragons’ Den

Good Bubble launched in April 2014 as a range of natural bath and hair products for children with a superfruit twist. Founder, Amy, appeared on Dragons’ Den in Series 13, episode 6. After overcoming a dizzy spell in the grilling, Amy came back fighting and went on to secure a £60,000 investment from Deborah Meaden.
